Bobby Joe Wyrick passed from this life on February 18, 2022, in Oklahoma City. He was born on April 18, 1957, in Groom, Texas to James Albert Wyrick and Pauline (Fite) Wyrick. Bobby grew up around Morse and Spearman, Texas, and went to school in Spearman. He married the love of his life Thelma Ann Moore on January 15, 1975, in WaKeeney, Kansas, and to this union were born three children, Joey, Carol Jean, and Tabathe. Bobby was an oilfield mechanic, he could fix anything broken, liked to fish, camp, boat, but especially loved to play with his grandchildren. He is survived by his mother Pauline Bright and stepfather Albert of Indiahoma, son Joey Wyrick and wife Amanda of Hennessey, OK, daughter Carol Jean Cornelius of Indiahoma, brother James Wyrick of Amarillo, Texas, sisters Gail Hays and husband Glen of Hollis, Oklahoma, Teresa Roden and husband James of Ponder, Texas and Judy Vela and husband Jr. of Amarillo, Texas. Bobby leaves a legacy of grandchildren, Gauge, James and John Schoolcraft, Kenley and Kayla Wyrick, and great-grandchildren, Catalina, Adrian, Zaidyn Schoolcraft, and one Schoolcraft on the way, along with a host of other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his wife Thelma Ann, daughter Tabathe, father James Albert Wyrick, and brother Billy Dean Wyrick. Graveside services for Bobby are scheduled for Saturday, February 26, 2022, at 2:00 P.M. at Carter Cemetery with John Werhan officiating. Public viewing will begin Friday, February 25, 2022, from 1:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Peoples Funeral Home, located at 1400 West Main, Lone Wolf, Okla., 580-846-9018.
