Joe Cook passed from this life on February 28, 2022, at home in Hobart. He was born on September 27, 1963, in Germany and was adopted by Harvey Glen Cook and Patsy Faye (Dunn) Cook. Joe attended Hobart Schools and was a proud Bearcat graduate, Class of 1982. Joe was presented with The State of Oklahoma Citation on December 12, 1980, pursuant to the motion of Senator Gilmer N. Capps in recognition of managing the Hobart High School Football Team, the Bearcats. He helped the Team to achieve a 15-0 season record and to make the bid for the State Class A Championship possible. Joe married the love of his life, Kathryn Rose McNeal, on December 30, 1995, and to this union four children were born: Jonna, Levi, Angie and Marcus. He continued his love and support for the Bearcats throughout his life. He was manager at Big-A Burger in Hobart for 32 years until his illness.
