Lonnie Ray Knox passed from this life on April 23, 2020 in Snyder, Oklahoma at age 62. He was born on November 2, 1957 in Oklahoma City to Thomas Knox and Elizabeth (Huff) Knox. Lonnie grew up in Mountain Park, graduating from Mountain Park High School in 1976 as Valedictorian of his class, but also lived in Snyder, Cache and Garden City, Kansas. He was a Truck Driver for American Fenix from 2006 until 2011 when he was injured and became disabled. Lonnie enjoyed fishing, swimming, camping with his children and especially loved to cook out on the grill and was a member of the Church of Christ in Snyder. Lonnie is survived by sons: Brian Knox and friend Stephanie of Mtn. Park; stepson Nathan Long and wife Deanna also of Mtn. Park, daughters: Madison Knox of Lawton, Kelly and Lisa Knox both of Snyder, brother Robert Knox and wife Betsy of Union, Missouri, sister Lisa Holland and husband Stan of Snyder, Oklahoma and one grandson Lonnie Knox. He is also survived by nephews; Kent Holland of Snyder, Cory Knox of OKC and Tommy Knox of Union, MO., nieces; Shannah Holland of Snyder and Lynsey Knox of OKC along with a host of other relatives and friends. Lonnie was preceded in death by parents, Thomas and Elizabeth Knox and brother Kelly Knox. A Graveside Memorial Service for Lonnie will be held Saturday, May 2, 2020, 2:00 P.M. at Mountain Park Cemetery with brother Charles King officiating.
